IMPRESSIVE PATTERNS: Heather Braun-Dahl–JUNE 8th

Heather Braun-Dahl of Dahlhaus Studio is a ceramic artist interested in pattern and design on the surfaces of her functional ceramics.  This workshop explores some of the
techniques she uses to create impressed patterns in clay by offering a hands-on workshop.  Participants will come away with some simple, DIY approaches (no plaster/no
technology needed) to creating patterns that can be applied to a slab-built vessel of their choice. Lots of tips for using slump-molds, hand-building using slabs, and creating
templates for making multiple forms will be discussed.  Perfect for all skill-levels, create a beautiful plate or vase in class and take home a template for creating beautiful, very
clean-lined patterns on your ceramic surfaces in the studio or at home. Pieces created in class will be bisqued for pick-up at a later date.

Payment Policy: Payment in full is due at the time of registration. Availability is limited, and space in classes will not be reserved until payment is processed. Paypal invoice will be sent to the above email address.

Refund Policy: Students who withdraw from a class at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the commencement of the first class will be given a full refund. Cancellations between 8-13 days prior to the commencement of the first class will be 50% refunded. Cancellations less than 1 week (7 days) prior to the first class will not be refunded. Missed classes will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Cancellation Policy: If a class does not meet minimum enrolment requirements within one week of the beginning of the class, Dear Human may cancel it. Should a class be cancelled, Dear Human will call enrolled students to discuss placement in alternate classes, or refund.
